Who do we want to help?
1. With our AIEWS, banks and financial institutions can actively and effectively monitor their loan portfolios, and lower their credit risks and costs. AIEWS also improves the productivity of Credit Operations through automation and enlarges coverage for Credit Monitoring that are not built in the internal process or framework. Stronger banks with efficient lending will in turn further strengthen the economy through more efficient financial intermediation.
2. Embedded in our AIEWS, the Business Relationships monitoring will help keep companies and SMEs informed of their business relationships (e.g. customers, supply chain partners, shareholders and competitors) and be more assured of the fulfilment of contractual obligations going forward. If any one of their business partners shows signs of early distress, they can respond much earlier than others, giving them a competitive edge to manage their operations, finance and strategy.
3. Central banks can monitor system-wide risks via the business relationship networks in AIEWS. In times of financial or economic stress, AIEWS can provide central banks with the intelligence needed to quarantine distress companies/sectors before the contagion spreads to the rest of the economy.
